About Lane
Lane Collins is a freelance photographer based out of Nelson, New Zealand. She grew up in North Carolina, where she started taking pictures as a teenager. Lane studied photography at the San Francisco Art Institute and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2005.

Today she shoots editorial & advertising assigments as well as personal projects, and regularly exhibits her work. Lane was recently awarded the overall Supreme Artist prize and top honors in photography at the 2007 Arts Council Nelson Regional Art Awards.
